The Granville Magazine is published once annually and serves as a comprehensive guide to life in Granville. Hard copies are available in the Granville Area Chamber of Commerce office at 110 E. Elm St. Suite D.

Education

Granville Exempted Village Schools is considered one of the finest school districts in the state of Ohio. Granville is also home to Denison University and is conveniently located near Ohio State University - Newark Campus and C-TEC.

Government

The Village of Granville provides services to the residents of the village. Granville Township maintains services within the surrounding township.

HEALTH CARE

Licking Memorial Health Systems is the largest provider of health care services in Licking County. Licking Memorial Hospital is less than 15 minutes from downtown Granville and LMHS also operates an Urgent Care in Granville. For more information, visit their website.

The Granville Public Library provides copying, faxing, scanning and printing services, reference materials, meeting rooms and public computers with Internet access as well as free public WiFi during office hours.

Camping is available at Lazy River Campgrounds and at Lake Hudson. Lake Hudson also provides facilities for daily swimming and fishing. Sports facilities are available at Granville Recreation District and Licking Park District parks. 

Golf is abundant in the region, with the opportunity to play the Granville, Raccoon International, Willow Run, St. Albans, The New Albany Links and Virtues Golf Club (Longaberger) Golf Courses. Mini golf and driving practice is available at Granville Golfland.

CVS Pharmacy is located at 200 East Broadway in downtown Granville.

Ross Granville Market is located at 484 S. Main St. in Granville. Palumbo’s Italian Market is located at 937 River Rd. in Granville.

Post Office

The Granville Post Office is found at 203 East Broadway, between Village Hall and the Library.

Public Safety

The Granville Police Department is located in Village Hall at 141 East Broadway (entrance on South Prospect Street). They can be reached at 740-587-1234 for non-emergencies, and 911 for emergency calls. Granville Township Fire Department and EMS can also be reached via 911.
