P2O® is a friendly, casual get together of Porsche owners and enthusiasts every summer. Celebrating great automobiles, good times, great eateries, and enough watering holes to serve Granville, Ohio and Denison University, P2O® is the perfect event for the Mid-Ohio Region PCA to celebrate the things that make Porsche ownership so unique.
WHEN AND WHERE IS P2O® HELD?
The event is hosted in the city of Granville, Ohio, during the last weekend of July. The event takes place in downtown Granville. Friday evening kicks off with a party in Granville — a great way for arriving guests to park their cars, make friends, and partake in food and spirits. Saturday is our signature event with hundreds of Porsches lining the historic streets of uptown Granville. Sundays are often reserved for extra activities such as road rallies for those wishing to make their stay a total weekend event.
WHY GRANVILLE OHIO?
Granville will provide the perfect picturesque backdrop for hundreds of beautiful cars and the owners who drive them. The rural college town 30 minutes east of Columbus is small enough to provide a terrific road trip for attendees near and far, but also has the infrastructure in place to support an event like P2O® that continues to grow by leaps and bounds every year.
WHAT KIND OF ATTENDEE TURNOUT DOES P2O® GENERATE?
The first P2O® event held in western was 2005 and included 140 registered cars. A year later, the turnout increased over 50% to 240 shiny Porsches. In 2007, P2O® welcomed 290 cars. That number increased to 396 Porsches in 2008 and 410 cars during a rain-soaked event in 2009 . In 2012, our first year in Granville, we had over 400 cars. Significant increases are expected in the coming years as one of the nation’s fastest-growing Porsche-only events continues to gain an unparalleled reputation of casual fun.
